چکیده

Abstract The production of building stones shown an exponential growth in last decades as consequences the demand and developments extraction processing techniques. From several conditioning factors affecting this industry, geological constrains at quarry scale stands out one most important. Globalization increasing competition stone market require large raw material blocks to keep further cost-effective possible. Therefore, potential volume in-situ plays important role yield a dimensional quarry. full characterization fracturing quarries comes up fundamental assessment volume/shape extracted blocks. Identify joint sets present, their spacing differences across demands continuous assess during live span. Information from unmanned aerial vehicles helps field survey, namely trough digital surface models, orthophotos, three-dimensional models. Also, modelling by specific software programs is crucial improve block size increase yield. In research twenty-one granite, limestone, marble, slate Portugal were assessed combining surveys with new studied cases selected presented highlight importance combined methodology how they can be helpful maximization resources management.

Flight Dynamics Modelling and Experimental Validation for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) are a viable alternative to manned aircraft and satellites for a variety of applications, including environmental monitoring, agriculture, and surveying. They promise greater precision and much lower operating costs than traditional methods. Critical to the success of UAV systems is the auto-pilot system which keeps the vehicle in the air and in control in the ab...

A Lightweight Hyperspectral Mapping System and Photogrammetric Processing Chain for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

During the last years commercial hyperspectral imaging sensors have been miniaturized and their performance has been demonstrated on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). However currently the commercial hyperspectral systems still require minimum payload capacity of approximately 3 kg, forcing usage of rather large UAVs. In this article we present a lightweight hyperspectral mapping system (HYMSY) f...
